Youth News: May 10, 2018

Don't we go in and out of our day to day without recognizing the presence of God? In the Old Testament, the Philistines captured the Ark of God, which contained the presence of God. Because of the hardened hearts of the Philistines, they grew afraid of the Ark instead of being lead into repentance, whereas when the ark returned to Israel, there was joy and peace in the land. In the New Testament, Jesus approached the disciples in the middle of the night and the disciples couldn't recognize Jesus and were afraid. Once the disciples recognized Jesus, they were at peace and arrived on land. As the school year is drawing to a close, take time to recognize God's presence wherever you are and there, I expect you will also find joy and peace.

Youth and father's, be sure to also take time to recognize your mothers, especially this weekend, because I guarantee life is most joyful and peaceful because of them. Happy Mother's Day!

God bless,
David Kao
