Hello Everyone,

As October comes to a close, let's begin putting our mindsets on the themes of family and charity. I hope to see you all at our Family Forum on media this Saturday, but if you still haven't signed up please do so below.

Youth News 10/19

Hello Everyone,

This last month we as a youth group have identified our Spiritual Gifts through the Spiritual Gift assessment, we've learned about our personal love languages, and we received our Youth Journals to challenge us and teach us how to be more and more like Jesus.
This week we're continuing to be like Jesus with a Celebration week, where we'll practice different and creative forms of worship. Let's get excited!!!!

Oct 22   Together E2 Fellowship, 7-9pm  
All Jr. High and High School Youth meet together in the Sanctuary, SJCAC
This week is our Celebration week, where we will be practicing creative worship.

Youth News 10/12

Hello Everyone,

So as we’ve discovered our Spiritual Gifts, in last week’s E2, we can start to make the connections “to be like Jesus?”…through your Spiritual Gifts. Jesus embodied every Spiritual Gift and so we all represent Jesus through the Spiritual Gifts we have.
This week we’re gonna take a step further into seeing how “to be like Jesus” by learning how you receive love. Before we can accept the love from Jesus, we have first learn how to receive it from Jesus. So lets get excited!!!

Last week we handed Youth Journals for the Fall Semester. Please bring remember to bring  journal back each week, it is connected to our Saturday’s E2 focus. This week’s focus is How You Receive Love, so during next week, your child will have a weekly challenge on the topic of “how to receive love”. One way you can stay involved with your youth and our youth program is to ask them how they’re doing with this weekly challenge. Was it fun? Was it difficult? Why? Favorite part of the challenge? Least favorite part of the challenge? These are some simple question you can ask. If you have any questions for me, I’d be happy to answer them. Email me at david.song@sjcac.org.

Youth News 10/5
