Youth News: Nov. 30, 2017

Wow, what a Thanksgiving weekend! I hope you all were able to find rest, eat a ton of food and spend quality time with family over the Thanksgiving break. 

As December approaches and homework, projects and finals are looming, I want to encourage each of you to strive to be blameless and upright. Your counter-culteral lifestyle can be one which can change your generation.

'Mexicali' 2018 Missions Trip

Youth News 10/25 (This Weekend: Mexicali STM, Youth Baptism)

Hello Youth Family!

This week is our Youth Celebration!!! don't forget to come out to play with us, worship God with us and share with one another the JOY of what God is doing this last month.

Prayer Requests:

Currently, our own Allison Tran, Abigail Kang and Uncle Mark Tran are in Jordan serving at Alliance Academy Jordan! Please pray for them as they teach students about asian culture, and pray for their return home this weekend.

As a whole Fellowship Middle School AND High School, Elijah and Elisha Fellowship will be spending the evening to Celebrate! This is a wonderful way to encourage one another as a Church family!

Last Year was our first year visiting Mexicali with our Missionary Brother Gil Blanco, and serving at Oasis Church, a community living with the Holy Spirit! We had a wonderful time getting to know the people and the several ministries available in Mexicali as well as how God loves them. Would you begin to pray about joining our mission team?

This week I'm in Redding California,taking class with some other brothers and sisters in Christ. Here I'm learning on the importance of being a leader and how to continue thrive in ministry and in Life. I hope I can share with you what I'm learning!

Prayer Requests:

This week I'm sitting in class, and my classmate is a firefighter! I'm able to hear first hand the struggles the Firefighters are facing and the magnitude of devastation the fires have done in Northern California.

Please also pray for the nations, including Somalia as they have also just experienced their own crisis and trauma.

Hello Youth Family!

Thank you for waiting for the Youth News this week, but the Youth ministry needed to prepare some details for the many upcoming activities where Youth can engage what God is doing in and around their lives.

Please continue to pray for California North Bay, who are suffering through the wild fires as well as the thick smokey air. Continue to pray for the brave firefighters who are relentlessly fighting the spread of the the fires.

Youth News 10/4 (October Reboot)

Hello Youth Family!

Thank you everyone who showed up last week, it was really fun, there was enough food, and Pastor David Song really felt loved and appreciated. As we move forward into this new season, the Youth ministry will continue to teach and mentor the Youth with foundational Biblical teachings. This week we'll be getting back into our separate Bible Studies, where we will be training our Youth with foundational blocks to our Christian faith. Please don't forget to read your Bible passages and bring your Bibles to Saturday Night E-Squared.

As you may have heard, our very own Pastor David Song has resigned from being the SJCAC Youth Pastor to pursue God's direction for himself and his family.
